Artisanal craftsmanship

From the drawing board to your nursery, all of our products are meticulously crafted by hand.  No piece is ever the same — just like each one of us —  simply special.

An artisan’s touch

We love products with a story and soul.  That’s why each piece at Malabar Baby evokes a feeling, embodies a story and has a human touch.

We work alongside artisans and manufacturers in India and China and have spent countless hours immersing ourselves in the craft of block-printing and its hands-on attention to detail.

Our pieces take days and sometimes weeks to make by hand, reminding us that there is irreplaceable beauty in slowly-made pieces with a human story.

Inspired by nature

We take our design cues from nature — Mother Earth.  All of our products are inspired by places we have visited and the everyday magic that surrounds every one of us.

At Malabar Baby, we believe that conscious living can be luxurious and affordable.  Our designs are beloved not just by our littlest customers, but by adults and even fur babies, too!  That’s because our designs integrate seamlessly into any modern home.

Our littlest clients are the future of the world, and they deserve the absolute best we have to offer.  They grow up so fast, so make every snuggle count.

Soft and sustainable

Aside from bath time, not a moment goes by when you or your newborn aren’t exposed to fabric — it’s essential that your baby’s skin is embraced by only the most natural and gentle organic materials.

All of our Sleep Sacks, Knit PJs, Bibs, Hats & Mittens are made from GOTS Certified Organic Cotton.

Our Quilts, Dohars, Dining Collection, Dresses and Shirts are hand block-printed by artisans on pesticide-free natural Indian cotton voile.

Our organic muslin range is known for its breathability, extra open weave and chemical-free dyes.

All of our products are vigorously tested by International Testing Bureaus, Intertek and/or SGS.

Your vibe attracts your tribe

The artisans we collaborate with in India and the community that we have built are unique to Malabar Baby and the reason we come to work every day.

We choose to partner with artisans and factories that have a similar ethos to Malabar Baby and common values surrounding the materials they use, their working practices and their fair wage commitments to their staff.

The community of artisans that we work with are the true heroes of our brand. Their dedication to their craft inspires us; we are proud that our brand stands for artistic authenticity and feeling right at home.
